Your wiring has a third wire
Two openings in a socket carry current. The third carries none. It runs to a rod driven into the earth, and it exists so stray charge has somewhere to go instead of building up in the appliance.
That connection is standard in domestic wiring. It is already in the wall behind you.

The idea
Barefoot contact, indoors
Standing barefoot on grass or wet sand puts you in direct contact with the ground. Shoes, floorboards and insulation sit between you and it for most of the day.
A grounding sheet is a way of keeping that contact overnight, without going outside.
What it is
Cotton, silver thread, one cord
Conductive silver thread woven through organic cotton, with a cord running to the ground port. That is the entire mechanism.
No electronics, no battery, nothing to charge or replace. It washes cold like any other sheet.
Living with it
Set it up once
Lay the sheet across the mattress, plug the cord into the ground port, and sleep with some skin in contact with it. After that it stays where it is.
Wash cold every couple of weeks. No bleach, no fabric softener, no oils — they coat the silver and stop it conducting.

What is grounding?

How do Ceyllo products connect?

Is it safe?
The product never touches mains power. That said, it depends on your wiring being correctly grounded — if you are unsure, have an electrician check the outlet before use. Do not use it during an electrical storm, and do not use it alongside any device that is itself plugged into mains power while in contact with your skin.

What if my outlet has no ground?
